Inspired by vintage souvenir jackets from the 1950s, this piece captures the distinctive character and craftsmanship of the era.

The body is made from The GROOVIN HIGH original rayon satin, featuring a smooth texture and distinctive luster. Even the ribbing has been specially produced to original specifications, creating a rich, authentic vintage look that perfectly complements the deep black satin body.

The highlight of the jacket is the striking embroidery across the back, featuring a powerful tiger and Mount Fuji motif. The embroidery is produced in Kiryu, Gunma, Japan, at a factory with a long history of creating this type of decorative embroidery. Each piece is embroidered using a traditional Yokofuri sewing machine, the same style of freehand embroidery machine used during the period and now increasingly rare.

Decorative details along the sleeves and the short vintage-style silhouette further recreate the unmistakable presence of 1950s souvenir jackets.
